COACHING BUILT ON EXPERIENCE, DISCIPLINE, AND RESULTS
At Basement Barbell Strength Training, coaching is about more than telling you what exercise to do next.
It's about teaching you how to move correctly, helping you understand the lifts, providing feedback when it matters, and guiding you through a process that can be repeated consistently over time.
A Focus on Strength That Lasts
I have attended an official Starting Strength Seminar and coach using the Starting Strength model, with an emphasis on efficient barbell training, technical precision, and long-term progression.
I have personally applied this method to my own training for more than 10 years and have worked under the guidance of experienced Starting Strength coaches.
Over time, I have learned that successful training does not require complicated workouts or constantly changing routines. It requires consistent practice, correct movement, focused coaching, and a structured approach to progression.

THE COACHING APPROACH
EVERY REP IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE.
Your lifts are coached, observed, corrected, and refined in real time. You will be expected to stay focused, listen, and apply feedback.
This approach helps you:
-
Develop proper technique
-
Understand the purpose of each movement
-
Build confidence under the bar
-
Create consistent training habits
-
Progress safely and effectively
-
Build strength that carries into everyday life
I continue to refine my coaching by applying the method, observing results, and improving how I communicate and teach the lifts.
The goal is simple: help you learn how to train correctly and build strength for the long term.

WHY BARBELL STRENGTH?
STRENGTH IS BUILT THROUGH CORRECT MOVEMENT, CONSISTENT PRACTICE, AND GRADUAL INCREASES IN LOAD OVER TIME.
This approach is simple on purpose. You'll learn how to perform the major barbell lifts correctly, apply them consistently, and build strength over time.
